The alleged leader of an Irish organized crime gang was extradited to Ireland from Dubai on Sunday to face allegations that he ran an international drug smuggling and money laundering empire with tentacles that stretched to Britain, Spain and the US. Kinahan, who was arrested in Dubai in April, was ⁠named by the United States in 2022 as one of three leaders of the Kinahan Organised Crime Group. US authorities offered a $5 million reward for their ‌arrests.
