Deadline reported that Marvel Studios cast Kit Connor to play the role of Scott Summers/Cyclops in the MCU’s upcoming X-Men reboot movie. Connor will be the third actor to play the X-Men’s leader after James Marsden, featured in the original X-Men saga and the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday, and Tye Sheridan, who stars in 2016’s X-Men: Apocalypse and 2019’s X-Men: Dark Phoenix (along with a cameo in 2018’s Deadpool 2). Connor is best known for his role as Nick Nelson in Netflix’s Heartstopper, and he also stars in The Wild Robot, Rocketman, and His Dark Materials.
