Following the release of Obsession, a $ 1-million-budget picture that has grossed over $400 million worldwide, the film’s distributor, Focus Features, is looking for the next big horror movie. They seem to have found one in John Langan’s 2016 novel The Fisherman. The upcoming supernatural thriller will be brought to the big screen by producer Michael Bay and the director of the Anne Hathaway-led psychological thriller, Mother Mary.
