After months of speculation, rumors, and unsubstantiated hearsay, Michael Mann’s highly anticipated Heat 2has finally solidified its central casting. Although Oscar winners Christian Bale and Leonardo DiCaprio have long been attached to the project, it was unclear which characters they would reprise from the original 1995 L.A. crime classic. Until now, with The Wrap confirming who will portray detective Vincent Hanna and his bank-robbing nemesis Neil McCauley, as well as McCauley’s right-hand Chris Shiherlis.
